Why are Moses, Isaac and Socrates in Hell? Glad you asked. According to
this apocryphal gospel, as well as Dante, anyone who died before Jesus
Christ redeemed mankind on the cross resides in Limbo, the First Circle
of Hell. Unless they were sinful folk, in which case they went to the
other more painful circles. Limbo is also where unbaptized babies go.
